PostSubject: Staff Rules: Approving Applications   February 5th 2010, 10:10 am

1. When checking applications, do not post more than three or so problems with the application at a time. This way it does not scare off or overwhelm the member.
2. The very first thing to make sure that the person has done correctly is the required amount of words/sentences per field. Please check that they have the minimum requirement for things such as history, personality, appearance description, and the such. You may find all the requirements below:

3. The second thing to check is that their appearance image is an anime image or similar to it. Nothing extremely realistic or close to it.
4. The third thing to check is that they have the appropriate rank to start off with. Normal characters always start off as Apprentices, Prince/Princesses as Commoner, Lord/Leaders as Skilled.
5. No royalty will be approved, it is completely closed for the time being; so do not approve them!
6. Do not abuse your powers! If they are someone you greatly dislike or detest, do not give them a hard time on their application because of it. If you do, you may be at a loss of your staff position.
7. When approving applications, be nice, alright? This means do not shout, no matter what; do not speak in all CAPS, and do not just delete applications without telling them what is wrong with it. If you are seen being rude like this when checking applications, you will lose your spot on staff and possibly never get it again.
8. The fourth thing to check on an application is that all of their pet's, techniques, items, and the such are all the proper rank, rank requirement, and correspond with their character's skill rank.
9. The final thing to check is anything else that has not been stated; this could be that their history is appropriated to fit the Avatar world and corresponds with the current RPG setting.
10. Once you approve an application, whether you're a moderator or an administrator, move the application to the "Approved" section. All staff members have this ability, please use it.
11. If you're an administrator and you've approved an application, add them to their proper group! If they are in the Dark Nation and are approved, then go to the forum homepage, go to the bottom of the page, click 'Dark Nation' and type in their username in the proper area to add them.
12. If you're a moderator and you've approved an application, PM an administrator or notify them to add the member to their proper group.
